Thanks to your support, my classroom is blossoming each day. The children are learning to be great friends by taking turns and sharing with one another through the activities we were able to purchase. The headphones have been especially impactful—allowing my students to participate in areas of the school that would otherwise be too overstimulating for their sensitive ears. Because of this, they are now able to join in and enjoy all school activities. \r\n\r\nWe had our first fire drill, and as we all know, this is an important safety practice. However, the alarm can be very loud, and some students experience anxiety from the noise. To prepare, we practiced the procedure in class and discussed the availability of noise-cancelling headphones.
