Books that are interesting, challenging, and offer a variety of genres to choose from can be very difficult to keep stocked in a small classroom library. \r\nThe Unwanted series and The Keeper of the Lost Cities are two very popular series that have lots of books in the series and I am very excited to add them to my collection. Already I can't keep all of them in my class library- with kids so excited to read them that they are picking them up out of order and grabbing them as quickly as someone else puts them back. \r\nI am also thrilled to have new \"Who is.../Who was...\" books. Besides simply having great non-fiction biographies for students to read about great individuals from history, it is also a great addition for an annual writing project in our class where students pick a book from the collection and read about someone new. Having these new titles will help expand access for our class as well as put new interesting individuals from so many points in history, in front of our young readers. \r\nThank you for your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1778029625266,"projectUrl":"project/give-the-gift-of-reading/10152190/","projectTitle":"Give the Gift of Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Matson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5997691_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1540092020912","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/michaelmatson"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_129234","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":216,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":20,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":75,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":16,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Weighted Average","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":90.0,"schoolId":129234,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Gem Preparatory - Meridian North on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Gem Preparatory - Meridian North","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/idaho/idaho-department-of-education/gem-preparatory-meridian-north/129234"}
