The students also explored the life cycle of the butterfly by using the life cycle sequencing kit. We watched live caterpillars through their life cycle. By using sequencing kit, it helped reinforce understanding of the stages of the life cycle. \r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to explore the materials. They enjoyed playing with the sink and float materials. We learned about which objects would sink and float and explored why. \r\n\r\nWe will continue to use these materials to encourage scientific exploration skills, fine motor skills, and creativity. We plan to use the magnetics to experiment with magnetic properties of how they stick to objects that are metal and how they do not stick on objects that are non-metal. The life cycle sequencing kit will be used to teach the lifecycle of the frog and chicken during science lessons.","fullyFundedDate":1744033091142,"projectUrl":"project/she-blinded-me-with-science/9108454/","projectTitle":"She Blinded Me With Science!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Koslowski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4453194_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1550187708417","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4453194"},{"teacherId":9555331,"projectId":8422116,"letterContent":"My students have enjoyed the most amazing art supplies. We have revamped our garden are for our school and even created a rock garden for our graduating preschool students. \r\nWe gave seeds to other friends in our school to plant in raised beds in our garden area. We also shared our paint markers with other friends to draw beautiful pictures on rock to place into our Rock Garden as a memory for our graduating preschool students.
