Many of the students I support are in crisis; depending on how they mark the feelings thermometer, some do not want to talk and instead prefer time with tangible items to self‑soothe. The students were thrilled to see the stress balls and octopus fidgets; even our high schoolers were eager to try them. The poppets and the \"big feelings\" sensory set have been especially helpful for students on the spectrum who need a quiet space to regulate.\r\n\r\nI will continue to maintain a safe, welcoming room where students feel comfortable coming to talk about their mental health and know they are supported — not alone. I also hope to expand the collection so more students can access items that help them cope.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your generous support.
