I have had the donations piled in front of the room since their arrival until the day came where I had extra remaining time in a class period. I told the students about how a generous donor funded these items, and that I am required to send pictures of us using the materials. Several students exclaimed \"And we get to be in the pictures??!!\" with excitement. \r\nThey were very happy to help me put the new desk stickers on their desks. We are always running out of tissues, and we are all looking forward to never having to hear \"Sorry, I'm out!\" this year. I color-code my notes pages to make it easier for students to organize (vocabulary is green / grammar is blue). Just this year, the school stopped providing colored paper free to teachers because of how expensive it is, so I have been paying out of pocket for my paper so far. I now understand how expensive this paper is considering how much of it I use! I am hoping your donation lasts a year or two! \r\n In one picture you can see students playing \"Magic Squares\" on pink cardstock. I use this card stock to make those puzzles as well as Bingo boards, board games, and sentence cards. This year I will be using a new textbook, and therefore have to make all new materials for that book which requires a lot of cardstock!
