We used the pink binder to organize book companions, creating a system of ready-to-go materials that support both small group instruction and individualized sessions. This has streamlined our planning and made it easier to provide targeted, engaging lessons. The air-dry clay has been a valuable tool for interactive language activities, allowing students to demonstrate vocabulary understanding through hands-on modeling. The newly added books have also been a wonderful addition, supporting not only language development but also articulation goals, as students practice target sounds while engaging with meaningful, age-appropriate content.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were genuinely excited and curious. There was a sense of pride in knowing that others had contributed to their learning experience. One student immediately noticed the fresh pencils and was so excited to be able to start earning them. Looking ahead, we are continuing a project that integrates the new books into articulation practice, where students describe characters, identify key vocabulary, and create clay representations tied to story elements. These next steps will deepen their expressive language skills while reinforcing sound production in a fun, purposeful way.","fullyFundedDate":1742924750805,"projectUrl":"project/speech-tools-and-special-education-rewar/9100110/","projectTitle":"Speech Tools and Special Education Rewards","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ramsey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9654526_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727977521837","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9654526"},{"teacherId":9242324,"projectId":8567173,"letterContent":"I am so thankful for your support and funding of my project! On behalf of my students and myself at Frontier Valley Elementary, I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation through DonorsChoose. Your support has made a significant impact on our school community, particularly in enhancing our students' social and emotional well-being, critical thinking skills, and creativity.\r\nThanks to your funding, I have been able to acquire a delightful array of funny costumes that have added a burst of joy and laughter to our school. I use the new costumes each morning to help provide a positive start to the students during my morning duty! These costumes have been a fantastic tool for helping students build rapport with me, build a safe relationship to talk about rough happenings, and creates a safe environment to enter each morning. Whether it's a flamingo hat or an animal costume, the joy and excitement are irreplaceable. \r\nMoreover, the games aimed at developing critical thinking skills have been a resounding success. My classroom has been buzzing with enthusiasm as students dive into these engaging and thought-provoking activities. These games have not only been enjoyable but have also fostered collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. It's heartwarming to see students working together, challenging themselves, and developing skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.\r\nAdditionally, the carts for storing 3D printing supplies have been a game-changer for my classroom small business. With these carts, we can now organize our materials efficiently and make them readily accessible to students. This has streamlined our projects and allowed students to dive into their 3D printing endeavors with ease. The excitement and pride on their faces when they see their digital designs come to life are truly priceless. These experiences are sparking a love for technology and innovation that we hope will inspire future careers in STEM fields.\r\nYour generosity has not only provided essential resources but has also created a ripple effect of positivity and growth between the students at our school and myself. It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child, and your contribution has demonstrated the incredible power of community support.\r\nOnce again, thank you for your kindness and commitment to education. Your support has made a lasting difference in the lives of my students, and we are deeply grateful. We look forward to sharing more stories of success and growth with you as our students continue to benefit from the resources you have provided.","fullyFundedDate":1727462768703,"projectUrl":"project/what-will-tomorrow-bring/8567173/","projectTitle":"What Will Tomorrow Bring?","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. S Simpson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9242324"},{"teacherId":9654526,"projectId":8647554,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for donating to my classroom! This year has flown by, and I have been able to reach so many students at their level due to your donation. I use the articulation cards every single day. My students love to earn the cards, see how big they can build their stack of cards with each word they practice, and play go fish! The cards have made articulation therapy a dream. Thank you so so much! My students also LOVE the Shelby's snack shack game. We enjoy playing the game alongside our therapy as a treat! My students love a little competition, and it allows for some wonderful motivation to encourage learning. The mouth model has really changed therapy for my visual learners, having a hands on model really allows them to understand my directions by seeing it on an accessible model!
