They made character maps and talked through what they would do if they were in the main character's situation. \r\nIt was great to see my students so engaged with reading. Many of them connected deeply with this story and they enjoyed writing about differnt outcomes. Moments like these help students grow not only as readers, but as thoughtful and compassionate individuals. \r\nYour generosity provided more than just books.
