Students are so engaged in the text and learning through reading. We learn empathy and so much figurative language through this novel study. As this is my third year using this novel, these books are well loved and students have taken such good care of these books.\r\nThis year we will be using these books again and again students will be submerged in learning through reading. Many of the students have never heard of this book, but it becomes a favorite of all. Students even get their own sketchbooks to sketch in like their main character Ally.\r\nOverall, this could not have been done without your help!
