The books have helped make abstract concepts more understandable, memorable, and enjoyable for young learners.\r\n\r\nThe collection will continue supporting math skills such as counting, addition, subtraction, comparing numbers, multiplication, division, telling time, and identifying and counting money. Each story gives students another way to practice important skills, build vocabulary, explain their thinking, and make connections between reading and mathematics.\r\n\r\nHaving literature that connects to math concepts is especially valuable in an elementary classroom. It encourages students to view themselves as readers, mathematicians, problem-solvers, and curious learners. Your donation has helped create a classroom where students can learn through stories, conversation, exploration, and hands-on practice.\r\n\r\nCreating joyful learning experiences with creative, out-of-the-box resources is deeply meaningful to both the students and me. Many of our students have experienced trauma and have very little in life, so knowing that someone took the time to care about them and do something kind brightens their day.
