Because of your kindness, our special education classroom now has a comfortable beanbag, disinfectant wipes, floor tape, and a place value chart—each item making a difference in our students' daily learning experience.\r\n\r\nThe beanbag has already become a favorite spot in our classroom. Having flexible seating options is especially important in a special education setting, and this addition helps us better meet individual student needs.\r\n\r\nThe disinfectant wipes are essential in keeping our classroom clean and healthy. With shared materials and close collaboration throughout the day, maintaining a sanitized environment helps protect our students and allows us to focus on learning with greater peace of mind.\r\n\r\nThe floor tape has transformed our classroom organization. We are using it to clearly mark line-up and learning areas. These visual boundaries provide structure and predictability, which are incredibly helpful for students who thrive on clear expectations and routines.\r\n\r\nFinally, the place value chart is already supporting our math instruction. It serves as a visual anchor that helps students build number sense and better understand place value concepts. For many of our learners, having concrete and visual supports makes abstract math skills more accessible and meaningful.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only provided supplies—it has created comfort, structure, safety, and stronger learning opportunities for our students. We are deeply grateful for your investment in our classroom and for believing in the potential of every child we serve.","fullyFundedDate":1767202745605,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-essentials/9866076/","projectTitle":"Classroom Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Olson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10336507"},{"teacherId":6721699,"projectId":9752212,"letterContent":"Upon the start of this school year, our students walked into my classroom with such excitement. We have regulation stations to assist in our feeling of calm and safe. We have a beautiful classroom to learn in. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your kindness and consideration in donating to our classroom. Because of your generosity, my students with significant disabilities are able to be more independent than ever before in my classroom. \r\n\r\nMore specifically, my students are able to walk over to the classroom library and pick a book that interests them without adult support! The electronic books are huge hit with all my students! Some students are able to use the electronic reader completely independently (I.e. they are able to select the correct book, turn the pages and push the buttons in the correct sequence, thus they are able to listen to story from beginning to end)!! Other students need some adult support to turn the pages and push the buttons in the correct sequence. However, all my students are able to open the books and enjoy the pictures!\r\n\r\nI used all the lamination and velcro to put together a variety of file folder activities, interactive books and independent task boxes. Because of these, our students are able to practice academic skills while also increasing their capacity to work independently.","fullyFundedDate":1748366599709,"projectUrl":"project/enchanted-readers/9362047/","projectTitle":"Enchanted Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dorn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10037633"},{"teacherId":6721699,"projectId":9087565,"letterContent":"Thanks to your donation, my classroom is amazing!
