When the materials first arrived, the atmosphere was electric. You should have seen the students' faces—especially when they spotted the new collection of \"Who Would Win?\" books. One student, who had been asking about these titles since the start of the year, practically did a victory lap when he saw them on the shelf! He has already devoured every single one. These books have turned non-fiction from something \"scary\" or \"boring\" into a high-interest adventure, proving that even at the middle school level, the right resources can make a world of difference in a student's desire to read.\r\n\r\nOur students are putting every single resource to work in creative ways. We've turned our sticker collection into a fantastic incentive program where students trade their well-earned PBIS stamps for stickers to deck out their water bottles, instrument cases, and binders. It's a joy to see them showcase their unique personalities through these little rewards! Meanwhile, our new clocks have solved a major mid-year hurdle. Whether students are practicing their analog skills, glancing at the large digital display from across the room, or double-checking with our Alexa, they are becoming much more mindful of their schedules and time management. Plus, our boards are now bursting with color thanks to the chalk markers, allowing us to share inspirational quotes that make every student and teacher feel at home the moment they walk in.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are excited to build on this momentum! My students are now very cognizant of the improvements in their space and are constantly buzzing with ideas for what we can explore next. We are so incredibly grateful that you chose to invest in our space and our kids. The response has been incredible—students and teachers alike are eager to use the space!\r\n\r\nWe even celebrated our very first podcasting club day recently, where students came together to explore and create their own podcasts.
