NextGen Builders is the inaugural construction camp for my program. My students will come together with other students from across the state this summer for our newly formed construction camp where they will complete a multitude of construction projects that will enhance the lives of special needs children and adults from around our state. The PPE, tools, and other equipment that you have provided will jumpstart those construction projects. When students leave the construction camp, they will also leave with these items in hand - taking home tools of the trade to continue their learning. From improving camp grounds to enhancing the campers experience to providing hands on experience for my students, your generosity is reaching farther than you could have possibly imagined!","fullyFundedDate":1759453361615,"projectUrl":"project/nextgen-builders-building-access-for-al/9727657/","projectTitle":"NextGen Builders: Building Access for All","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kristie Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp343340_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1689167142982","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/kristie-jones"},{"teacherId":10191008,"projectId":9632958,"letterContent":"When our new refrigerator arrived, my students were immediately excited. Many of them gathered around as we unboxed it, and several cheered when they realized how much easier it would make storing water. We put it to use right away. Having reliable cold storage meant the students could stay hydrated during the hot Mississippi weather.\r\n\r\nThe refrigerator has already had a meaningful impact on our daily routines. Students now take turns managing the storage of water and hydrating popsicles—building responsibility and real-world skills. One moment that stood out was watching a group of students excitedly open the refrigerator to see it stocked with cold water. The new appliance has also ensured greater equity in our classroom by allowing students who bring perishable items, or who rely on classroom food support, to safely store what they need for the day.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the refrigerator will play a central role in our upcoming projects insuring the importance of hydration. Students will work in teams to keep the refrigerator stocked with water. Thanks to your generosity, our classroom now has the ability to stay hydrated. We are truly grateful—your support has made both learning and daily routines smoother, healthier, and far more engaging for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1755958241786,"projectUrl":"project/chillin-in-the-welding-shop/9632958/","projectTitle":"Chillin in the Welding Shop","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. George","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10191008_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755719516637","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10191008"},{"teacherId":7998950,"projectId":9198625,"letterContent":"With the addition of iPads in our robotics and engineering classroom, my students now have access to platforms that truly bring their ideas to life. \r\n\r\nThe iPad will play a vital role in transforming the way I some of my hands-on lessons.
