The colorful stickers, wristbands with Spanish messages, candy, and fun little toys made them light up with excitement. Right away, they asked, \"Are these really for us when we read?\" and you could feel the extra energy in the room. It was the perfect way to launch our reading adventure.\r\n\r\nWe are now using these items as rewards for our independent reading time in Spanish. Each week, students set goals for how much they will read, and when they achieve them, they earn a chance to pick a prize. The keychains, wind-up toys, and sticker books have been especially motivating—students are eager to share their reading progress so they can celebrate their success. One student who usually struggles to stay on task proudly finished a full chapter and said, \"I did it—I'm getting a prize today!\" That joy was priceless.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, reading has become not just a routine, but a celebration. Students are associating Spanish with fun, accomplishment, and pride. Our next step is to continue tracking reading growth, building stamina, and encouraging students to choose books that challenge them.
