These chairs are designed to help students with ADD and ADHD focus in class. I am hopeful this will help my students focus and feel more comfortable practicing a subject that most feel uncomfortable doing. The flexible seating approach has helped many classrooms and I am hoping that my students will be more successful with their mathematical thinking. It is my hope that when students practice math, an already uncomfortable subject for most, that they will feel comfortable and welcomed into math class. I intend to use these chairs in my small group table. This will help students focus more on their math learning.
