As soon as the sensory tools, calming materials, and SEL books arrived, my office transformed into a peaceful, supportive space where students could reset and refocus. One of my favorite moments came during a particularly challenging morning for one of our learners. He quietly picked up the weighted plush animal and took several deep breaths. Within minutes, he was able to return to his academic task, calm, confident, and ready to learn. Moments like this are now happening every day because of your generosity.\r\n\r\nStudents were amazed when they first saw the Create-A-Path Magnetic Center, Playfoam Pluffle, and fidgets. They immediately began exploring the textures, shapes, and tools with pure joy. The books you helped provide—A Kids Book About Anxiety, Help Your Angry Dragon, and If I'm Upset, I Can...—have sparked meaningful conversations about emotions and coping strategies. These resources are now woven into daily routines, providing students with practical ways to communicate their needs and regulate their feelings. Our next steps include building individualized self-regulation toolkits and incorporating the new visuals and laminated supports into targeted lessons so students can apply these skills throughout their school day.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has not only provided materials; it has given my students access to emotional skills that will support lifelong success. Students who once struggled to calm down during moments of frustration now have tools they can independently choose and use. They are more engaged, more confident, and more willing to take academic risks because they know they have a safe place to regroup when big feelings arise.
