When my students first saw the new rolling magnetic boards and chart papers, they were so excited—they immediately wanted to write, draw, and share their ideas.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the magnetic boards for group grammar and writing activities. Students take turns identifying parts of speech, building sentences, and presenting their work to the class. The ability to move the boards around has made lessons more dynamic—students now stand, collaborate, and discuss instead of staying seated the whole time.\r\n\r\nThe chart papers have been perfect for anchor charts, brainstorming ideas, and displaying student work. My students love seeing their contributions posted around the room—it gives them a sense of pride and ownership in their learning.\r\n\r\nThese materials have made English lessons more visual, engaging, and student-centered. Our next step is to use the boards and charts for writing workshops and vocabulary games to continue strengthening our English skills together.","fullyFundedDate":1756009780013,"projectUrl":"project/building-english-skills-with-magnetic-bo/9620335/","projectTitle":"Building English Skills with Magnetic Boards and Chart for Collaboration","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Rojas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10111314_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755554550601","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10111314"},{"teacherId":10111314,"projectId":9533440,"letterContent":"Our classroom has been buzzing with excitement thanks to your generosity! When my students first saw the colorful markers and their own notebooks, their faces lit up. Many of them immediately started flipping through their new notebooks, talking about what they wanted to write.\r\n\r\nWe are now using the markers to color-code parts of speech while reading and writing. During one lesson, my students worked in groups to highlight nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in different colors, then used their notebooks to write new sentences using those words. This hands-on, visual activity made grammar click for them, and they were so proud of their work.\r\n\r\nThe notebooks have become a place for drafting, taking notes, and reflecting on their learning. Students love seeing their progress and keeping all their writing pieces in one place. These resources have made lessons more engaging and meaningful, helping my English learners feel confident and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to build on this momentum by using the notebooks for longer writing projects where students apply what they've learned about grammar and sentence structure.
