These resources are already making a difference for my 90 third-grade math students.\r\n\r\nMy students have been using the floor cushions and mini tables to spread out around the classroom and work with partners. It has been wonderful to give them more flexibility in where they learn while encouraging collaboration and teamwork. They have also been using the new whiteboards to work through math problems, show their thinking, and practice different strategies. Having these additional resources gives students more opportunities to actively participate in their learning.\r\n\r\nThe students have enjoyed having new spaces to work together and the opportunity to learn in different ways. Partner work allows them to explain their reasoning, listen to different approaches, and build confidence in their mathematical abilities. I love seeing students engage with one another and realize that there can be multiple ways to approach a problem.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through our third-grade math curriculum, students will keep using the flexible seating and whiteboards during partner activities, collaborative practice, and whole-class lessons. We will also introduce the new math manipulatives when we reach upcoming units, giving students hands-on ways to explore new concepts and deepen their understanding. These materials will help make abstract math concepts more concrete and accessible.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our students and our classroom! We used the math tablets each day to work out strategies for solving so many math equations. My students this year are still using them. The other resources like the laminators work wonders for making reusable printables. I really appreciate all the generosity to make this happen. I have spent so much of my own money and this was a Godsend to get my classroom set up. I was very happy to have the Stem bin supplies as well. My students have really appreciated all of the nice classroom items. They have specifically really enjoyed the science materials. They enjoyed planting and watching the seeds grow in our window as well as playing with all the magnets in our magnetic forces unit. We have not yet had indoor recess so they have not had a chance to play all the fun games. Students have really enjoyed all of the new items and have used them all year so far.
