In today's world, many young people are disconnected from how things grow, so this opportunity has been incredibly valuable. Through hands-on experiences, students have learned how to use gardening tools, plant and care for seeds, and take part in the full growing process.\r\n\r\nBeyond learning new skills, the garden has become a place of peace and reflection. Students have enjoyed sitting on the pillows, working together with wheelbarrows and tools, and even taking time to observe hummingbirds and other elements of nature around them.
