I have especially enjoyed watching students gather around the art center, select their own materials, and proudly create pictures and projects that represent their ideas and experiences.\r\n\r\nOur library coffee table has transformed our classroom library into a more inviting and comfortable space for reading. The table gives students a place to gather with books, look at illustrations, talk about stories, and enjoy reading alongside their classmates. Students were immediately excited when they saw their new classroom spaces and were eager to explore the materials. Having furniture and organization designed for their size and needs has helped them feel that these areas truly belong to them.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using both resources throughout our classroom studies. Students will use the art center to illustrate stories, represent their learning, experiment with different art materials, and create projects connected to our themes. In the library, students will continue developing book-handling skills, oral language, vocabulary, storytelling, and an early love of reading.
