The students learned about the historical aspect of why we have Labor Day, as well as a deeper look at Child Labor throughout history in the USA.\r\n\r\nThe students enjoyed learning how to use the laminator and laminating pouches to preserve images collected during historical research. The students were excited to use the large dry erase magnet to further develop writing skills, using it to teach and explain to other students in the class. It is now a favorite as students step into the role of professor to write, read and share with the class. \r\n\r\nThe cards will be used throughout the semester to create personal packets of flashcards for spelling words and the development of phoneme understanding.
