After receiving the materials, I shared the good news with our Speech and language therapist along with informing the parents. The kids were obviously very excited and wanted access, which we were more than happy to provide them.\r\n\r\nAt the beginning of accessing the materials they wanted to play their favorite games but soon realized the use was not communication. Not long after we started noticing that many of the students wanted to begin paring the pictures with preverbal sounds which really inspired us to keep using the equipment. Not long after we finally heard one of the students that had not communicated verbally by saying the word \"stop\". It was such an amazing feeling and shock no only to the student but the staff because we heard his voice for the first time.
