The materials have made a significant impact on my social-emotional lessons for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. One of the highlights was creating growth mindset rocks with puffy paint, which brought such joy to the students. Their faces lit up at the sight of their creations. I was thrilled when K-2 students wanted to create growth mindset rocks as well. I had not originally intended for these younger students to do this activity but when they saw the rocks drying, they wanted to make them too. We look forward to expanding our growth mindset work this semester with more role plays and hands-on activities. The new games, especially the story cubes, have also been a hit in helping students with sequencing and communication. Also, the friendship bracelets have been wonderful in helping a few students practice their social initiate skills at recess. One student in particular has used the friendship bracelets as a way to invite peers to join her at recess. It has been wonderful to see. Thank you again for all of your support. On behalf of my students and myself, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom. Thanks to you, we've been able to integrate new materials that have truly enhanced our learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe new books have quickly become favorites in our classroom. The students were excited to dive into the stories and information they contain, and I've already noticed a difference in their engagement and enthusiasm during reading time. The books have opened up new worlds for them and are sparking lots of curiosity and great discussions.\r\n\r\nThe stickers have been a hit as well. My students love using them as part of their work, whether it's for marking achievements or as part of our classroom rewards system. It's been such a wonderful way to encourage motivation and celebrate their progress.\r\n\r\nThe plastic bins have also been incredibly helpful for organizing personal materials. Students now have designated spaces for their supplies, which has cut down on clutter and given them a sense of ownership over their own learning materials. They take great pride in keeping their areas neat and organized, and this has also contributed to a smoother classroom flow.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw these new materials, their faces lit up with joy and excitement. They couldn't wait to explore the books, arrange their supplies in the bins, and use the stickers in their work. It was clear that these new resources meant a lot to them, and their enthusiasm has carried through to their daily work and interactions in class.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generosity and support. Your contribution is making a lasting impact on my students, and we are all incredibly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1728312659051,"projectUrl":"project/open-a-book-and-open-your-mind-and-heart/8588057/","projectTitle":"Open a Book and Open Your Mind and Heart","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Haxton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9295642"},{"teacherId":9223013,"projectId":8563022,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the donations you made to my new third grade classroom.
