With the funds from this project, I am now purchasing movement dance scarves to bring more joyful, kinesthetic learning into our music lessons and classroom management stickers to reinforce positive behavior and build community.\r\n\r\nOnce the materials are approved and arrive, students will be able to explore rhythm, dynamics, and musical expression through movement—something especially exciting for our younger learners and those who thrive with physical activity. The stickers will support a positive, structured environment where students feel celebrated and motivated.\r\n\r\nEven though the bells haven't made it to our classroom (yet!), your kindness is helping us build a stronger, more vibrant music program. Many of them had never touched a real melodic instrument before, and when they saw the shiny bars lined up in front of them, their eyes lit up with excitement and wonder. It was truly a moment of joy—not just for them, but for me as an educator who has been working for years to build a meaningful music program in a school that has never had one.\r\n\r\nAs we began using the new instruments, students immediately started exploring musical patterns, creating short melodies, and even composing simple pieces to share with each other. One student in particular, who's often quiet during group discussions, found confidence while performing a solo improvisation on the xylophone. His classmates cheered him on, and I saw how music brought him out of his shell.\r\n\r\nCurrently, we're working on a collaborative class project where small groups are composing short songs to represent different emotions—happy, sad, excited, or peaceful—using the xylophones and other classroom percussion. The keyboards we hope to receive next will build on this foundation and open even more doors for expression. Your support gave our students access to a world of sound and creativity they've never had before. Thank you for being part of this transformative journey.","fullyFundedDate":1746786516965,"projectUrl":"project/music-education-for-all/9142424/","projectTitle":"Music Education for All!","teacherDisplayName":"Mx. Also, some of the resources were able to support students while they completed daily assignments. \r\n\r\nMy students were very excited and appreciative when they saw the resources. I showed and explained the resources and told my students when they could be used in the classroom. It certainly helped to motivate them in completing task, in a timely manner. \r\n\r\nMy students were especially interested in playing the game the Bop-It , Stacking Blocks, and Tic-Tac-Toe games. When the box arrived all my students were very curious of what was inside the heavy box, so I immediately let them pick a color and draw pictures on. I have to say that they have been in heaven drawing, painting, dotting, and creating memorable art. The new construction paper is so colorful and it displays very beautifully.\r\n\r\nI use art time to teach sharing, build language , working independently and to teach basic skills like color recognition. Now instead of asking my students do they want red, blue, yellow, I ask them if they want holiday red, sky blue, or gold. It's so nice to be able to teach them that colors come in multiple shades. The students and I have been having a blast working with our treasured paper. Their work is so cute and they feel so proud when they complete a project.
