Because students can code the robots using color, they provide an approachable and exciting introduction to programming for even our youngest Bear Cubs.\r\n\r\nHaving these Ozobots readily available makes it much easier to plan meaningful lessons that connect technology with subjects such as math, literacy, science, and more. Instead of imagining what we could do with robotics and coding, we now have the tools to make those ideas a reality.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your support. In fact, as soon as the new books were processed and placed on the shelves, some were already being checked out!\r\n\r\nThese new books have given our bilingual students more choices and greater access to stories they can enjoy in Spanish. They have also allowed us to better serve our Spanish-speaking families. Students can take these books home and share them with parents and family members, creating opportunities to read, talk about stories, and enjoy books together in the language they share.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our library is better equipped to serve all of our Bear Cubs. These books aren't simply filling space on our shelves... they are being chosen, taken home, shared with families, and read. We've been using the dry erase markers daily during math lessons—students solve problems right at their desks, show their thinking, and quickly make corrections without fear of \"messing up.\" One of our favorite moments so far was during a place-value lesson when every student held up their board at once, proudly showing their answers. It gave me instant feedback and gave them a big confidence boost.\r\n\r\nThe footballs have been a game-changer too—literally. We use them during brain breaks and as part of review games where students answer questions before tossing the ball to a classmate. These short movement breaks help my students reset, refocus, and release energy in a positive way. I've noticed better engagement and fewer behavior issues, especially during longer lessons.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions said it all—cheers, wide eyes, and lots of \"Are these really for us?!\" They immediately wanted to know when we could start using them, and they've treated them with care because they feel a sense of ownership.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using the dry erase markers for small-group problem solving and written responses in reading, while continuing to incorporate the footballs into math fact fluency games and cooperative learning activities.
