My students have been able to start the year off with new jump ropes, pool noodles, and foam balls. We have used the jump ropes to warm up before an activity, and they are out at recess for them to play with. The pool noodles are a favorite to use with our scooters, and they also use them to tag each other when we play tag. I have used the new foam balls in two units already this year. The students are not afraid to learn to play catch because they know they cannot get hurt with the foam balls.
