We are grateful for all the donations that helped bring this project to fruition. The recorder books are enhancing the students' learning by providing an opportunity for sight reading and a variety of pieces to play. \r\nIt has been fun to challenge the classes from week to week on how many pieces they can play versus another class. It's been a good motivation. I'm always thankful when new materials can be added to my classroom to keep the lessons fresh and interesting. We have been working with an older, somewhat outdated version of LEGO robotics for the past few years, and all of the kits we use are designed for these new Spike sets. Until now, 3 Spike robotics sets have not been an option, as they are an expensive add-on to our LEGO Club materials. Thanks to your generous donations, our LEGO engineers will be able to take their creations to a whole new level this year!\r\nOur students were SO excited to see these new Spike sets! You will see from the pictures that this is such an amazing surprise for them. As they get further into their designs and our LEGO Club challenges, I know they will be wowed by the new features of this updated set!\r\nOur LEGO Club will be off and running in January. Our students will enjoy these new materials each week at our meetings, and then we will be off to our local Expo to share our creations and ideas with other young engineers in our community. We cannot wait to start our new LEGO season off better prepared than ever before and ready to take on some exciting new challenges together.
