Our class was so excited to learn that our project had been filled and that soon we would be receiving the supplies to help us be more organized with our math manipulatives.\r\n Upon receiving our materials, I put my student teacher to work getting everything out, labeling the boxes with student numbers, and adding the manipulatives and supplies to the boxes. Once we got them together, I went over with the students how to best care for their boxes and where they would be stored. They were very eager to dig into them.\r\n We use the math manipulative boxes almost every day. This has been a game changer for me! No more time consuming tasks like passing out manipulatives to students, taking class time for digging through big boxes to find what we need, or taking time to clean them up when finished. Now all students have to do is grab their box and we are ready to start our lesson! Students love using the boxes and take a lot of pride in keeping them neat and organized. \r\n This would not be possible without your generosity and willingness to help out teachers. Please know that your gift is deeply appreciated.","fullyFundedDate":1756916247693,"projectUrl":"project/math-organization/9667579/","projectTitle":"Math = Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Owens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp178922_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756985911403","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/kem-owens"},{"teacherId":178922,"projectId":6990469,"letterContent":"Already your gift of a donation has made a tremendous impact on our classroom. We have gotten our boxes and supplies ants put those together for each child. The children's faces lit up when I told them they would have their own math manipulative box!! We will be changing out manipulatives as we move from unit to unit. \r\n As you know, some children are excellent at math and some struggle. You may have even been a struggling math student yourself. Math manipulatives help students visualize mathematical concepts. Being able to house manipulatives for each student, and them having better access through the boxes, makes math a time of fun and not dread. This helps open the learner's mind and get ready to learn!\r\n This has been a vision of mine for quite a while. To see it through to fruition gives me an amazing feeling. I want to thank you for helping me see this vision become a reality for my students. Although we get help from the state and district, those funds have to be put toward more fragile things for our classrooms.
