Words such as kind, smart, creative, brave, and determined became more than words—they became reminders of the strengths students bring into our classroom each day.\r\n\r\nWe also found creative ways to connect our learning to everyday classroom experiences. In this classroom moment, students used the manipulatives and whiteboards to model fractions and division problems. Instead of only solving on paper, they were able to build, draw, write, and talk through their strategies with one another.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were excited and immediately wanted to use them. The stools helped create a more flexible small-group space, and the whiteboards made learning feel interactive and engaging. The small group resources you provided have allowed me to differentiate instruction in a much more intentional way. Instead of teaching grammar and writing skills in whole group only, I am now able to pull targeted small groups and meet students exactly where they are. During a recent lesson on parts of speech and sentence structure, I worked with one group on building complete sentences while another group practiced expanding their writing with stronger vocabulary. Watching students confidently correct their own sentences and explain their thinking was a powerful moment for all of us.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were beyond excited. They immediately noticed the colorful organizers, task cards, and hands on activities and kept asking when we could use them. Students are currently working on drafting personal narratives and informational paragraphs, and our next step is focusing on revising for clarity, proper conventions, and stronger sentence structure.
