They've embraced it in a variety of ways, and treat it with the utmost respect. For many, it has become a sanctuary to unwind after a busy school day during their resource time. It's not uncommon to find students lounging in the bean bag chairs, playing games, and simply taking a mental break from homework and social stress.\r\n\r\nBeyond just a place to relax, the space has also become a haven for students dealing with stress and anxiety. I've observed several students using the lava tiles and other sensory tools to help manage overwhelming emotions.
