We have been very busy preparing for and taking the Ohio State Tests in Math. I am pleased to say that our preparation seems to have payed off. Most students made significant gains and are achieving the goals we set at the beginning of the year.\r\nAs far as the furniture your donation helped to purchase, that too has worked out great! The students love the wobble stools and do a good job of alternating between themselves so everyone gets to sit in one every week. And the stand up desks have been a game changer. The students who are sleepy or unfocused will ask to go to them when they need to. We even used them for testing when students could not keep their eyes open.\r\nAs always, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have helped children who need all the support they can get. They are much appreciated!! \r\n\r\nThe new books were immediately were checked out at all schools. There was much excitement when they were in a \"new books\" display and it was usually empty- those books are always checked out. The kids especially love the stuffed animals that came with a couple of the titles.
