We use technology in many ways: Webquests, watching historical videos that connect to our lesson, and the also students with IEPs often like to listen to recordings we make of the directions. \r\nHaving noise cancelling headphones as well as speakers, allows us to control the volume in our classroom and allow our students the best access to the materials we are trying to teach. It is not uncommon in public schools for equipement to break or die, and there are not appropriate plans or resources to replace them. This means making sacrifices in how we plan.\r\nYour gift will allow us to plan lessons that engage and bring historical issues to life alongside the literature we read. Instead of talking about The Freedom Rides, students can now actually watch footage with high quality sound to help them understand what they were actually like. \r\n\r\nIn private schools, teachers and students want for nothing. Between PTA's and parents who give a lot of money, they don't worry about the basics. As public school teachers, nothing is promised or guaranteed in our classrooms. Thank you for giving us peace of mind that we can teach in the best way our kids need, not based on what we \"don't have\".","fullyFundedDate":1758899163998,"projectUrl":"project/amazing-students-deserve-up-to-date-tech/9725514/","projectTitle":"Amazing Students Deserve up to Date Technology Resources!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. p.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp231696_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453761610163","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/231696"},{"teacherId":9574065,"projectId":8789765,"letterContent":"I know this thank-you is way overdue, but I couldn't go another day without letting you know how incredibly grateful I am!
