We competed in the First Tech Challenge at the VT State Championship on Saturday 2/8. It was an intense, engaging event with 22 teams competing for a handful of prestigious awards and invitations to the Regional Premier Event in Springfield, Mass or the World Championship in Houston, Texas. \r\n\r\nTwo of our students were finalists in the Dean's List Award which means that they have contributed great things to the STEM community including outreach and an attitude of gracious professionalism. In addition, our team was awarded the Think Award which is described by FIRST as the award given to the team who is successful in \"removing engineering obstacles through creative thinking.\"\r\n\r\nThis year, we have been invited to the Regional Premier Event in Massachusetts.
