When we got out the new Mini Magna-Tiles, they started putting them together and telling me the different colors, and were eagerly telling me what they were making with them. The same thing happened when we got out the Straws and connectors. When they got their hands on the straws they started making different shapes and telling me what they were making. They also talked to each other, and worked together to make bigger items. I loved seeing them be able to build their social skills and communication skills in this way. They are also loving the Monkey Gears game and the Sound Sorting game as well. \r\n\r\nThe new Chair sacks allowed us to replace some that had become ripped and broken. This had ensured that each child has a place to keep individual supplies within easy reach. By having these supplies ready to go at their seat it enables us to have more time on task in the classroom since they don't have to wait on me to pass things out to them, or collect them at the end of a lesson. The laminating sheets and dry erase pouches have helped us be able to create materials that we can use multiple times. The binders that were provided enabled us to make sure each child has one so that materials that need to go back and forth between school and home do not get lost inside a backpack. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping this project come to life!
