My students are used to working on vertical boards mounted on the walls and windows, so having the opportunity to bring their work to their own group pods has been a game changer.\r\n\r\nMany of my students shared that they love being able to work together at their pods while writing on their easels. The easels have made group work feel more natural and have encouraged students to collaborate, discuss their mathematical thinking, and learn from one another. As a teacher, I especially love that the easels are not bulky, so students still have plenty of space at their pods to work together.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic board has also been incredibly useful. I can print a small math task or problem for students to place on the magnetic surface while they work out the problem. It keeps the problem visible and allows students to focus on showing their mathematical thinking. The magnetic surface is also perfect for keeping their dry-erase marker and eraser in one place, which means fewer lost supplies!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous donation and for making math collaboration flow more naturally in my classroom. These resources are being used every day to encourage collaboration, problem solving, communication, and academic accountability. You have truly made a difference in the way my students learn and work together in Math class.\r\n\r\nDonorsChoose will be sending some pictures and a thank-you card from my classes so you can see your impact firsthand.
