My kindergarten friends were so excited to see all the new tools and supplies that we were given. Your generous donations have allowed for all of our kinder kats to be innovators, creators, and explorers. \r\n\r\nThis year we have created our own paintbrushes out of several of the craft supplies that were donated and items that we found in nature. Students then were able to use their paint brush to create their own masterpiece. We also were able to build our own mazes and test them out. Recently students got to create their own weather tool and explain how it works, and what weather helps protect us from. The straws, pipe cleaners, felt, popsicle sticks, and modeling clay were very helpful in completing all three projects. \r\n\r\nOur students also really enjoyed our new balancing/measurement set. My colleagues and I were able to show students hands on how you can use a balance for measurements and capacity. We often talk about this, but having visual hands on manipulatives that students can use to test it out themselves really helped them make connections. I am truly grateful for everything that we received this year.
