Your generosity provided my students with much more than classroom supplies. You helped create a welcoming, supportive environment where students can feel prepared, comfortable, and confident enough to learn.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have been especially meaningful. Many of my students arrive at school focused on learning while also dealing with the everyday challenges of being teenagers. Having snacks available allows me to make sure students have something to eat when they need it so they can focus their energy on participating in class.\r\n\r\nThe hygiene products have also helped me provide students with something that is often difficult to ask for but incredibly important to their confidence and well-being. Having these items available discreetly allows students to take care of their personal needs and return to class feeling more comfortable and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe mobile dry erase board and 24 individual dry erase boards have transformed the way I can teach and interact with my students. My English learners benefit from being able to see language modeled visually, practice vocabulary and grammar, and respond without the pressure of writing everything on paper. The individual boards allow every student to participate, practice, make mistakes, and try again. They are especially helpful during quick checks for understanding because I can immediately see who understands the lesson and who needs additional support.\r\n\r\nThe highlighters have become another valuable learning tool. My students use them to identify important information, annotate texts, find evidence, recognize key vocabulary, and organize their ideas when reading and writing. For students developing their English skills, being able to physically mark important words and ideas makes challenging texts feel more manageable.\r\n\r\nFinally, the hanging file organizer helps me keep instructional materials organized and accessible. With students working at different English proficiency levels, organization is essential. It allows me to prepare differentiated materials and quickly provide students with the resources they need.\r\n\r\nEvery item from this project has a purpose, but together they have helped create something even more important: a classroom where students feel supported.
