After a long week of testing students were able to celebrate with some candy or a snack. They were really motivated knowing that a snack was the end goal. Some kids also just do not eat much for breakfast and are very involve with other activities so they tend to be more hungry or forget to eat enough to nourish their bodies. These snacks help give an extra boost of energy throughout the day. \r\n\r\nStudents immediately wanted to know what they needed to do to earn these snacks. They love the variety and that it would last them longer than a Dum Dum lollipop. They are motivated to participate or to do the right thing in and out of the classroom because they know Ms. Sosa has the good treats to give out. \r\n\r\nStudents in my classroom are currently working on a parts of speech unit they are working hard, taking notes and are gearing up for their district exam.
