The students have been tracking the growth of their plant in clear cups, making it easy to observe the process. They are learning about life cycles, plant needs (sun, water, soil), and observation skills every day. The project inspired us to read non-fiction books about plants, write daily observation journals detailing the changes they see. Students have taken ownership of their plants, establishing a watering and care schedule. They have learned the importance of responsibility and how to collaborate to ensure our whole classroom garden thrives.\r\n\r\nThe sheer excitement on their faces when the first tiny sprout emerged was priceless! This experience has connected them to nature and fostered a sense of wonder and patience.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in these future scientists and gardeners. Time definitely got away from me.\r\n\r\nThe air conditioner has been a game-changer in my class. Our classroom would be over 80 degrees due to the sun shining into our room. In addition, the windows cranked open from the bottom, which blocked the air from cooling our room. My students would complain about the heat and become lethargic.\r\n\r\nWe are now able to keep the room at a very comfortable 71 degrees. Students are now more focused and ready to work throughout the day.\r\n\r\nWe are also truly thankful for the whiteboards and prizes. The whiteboards are used every single day when practicing math. Every student has their own board. I also use the prizes as rewards for hard work, examples of leadership, and outstanding behaviors. \r\n\r\nThank you once again. The stories make math concepts come alive and help my students see how numbers connect to the real world. It's so fun watching their faces light up when they recognize something from the story on their math worksheet.
