Since receiving my new book series for my 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, I've already noticed a huge change in their reading abilities, boosting their self confidence, and their test scores improving!\r\nOur students now attend their English Language Arts classes in the library because now they have a much bigger (and better) selection of new books to enjoy! Watching their enthusiasm and love of reading brings me great joy and it's all because of YOU and your generous contribution of new books for us! I'm also excited to share with you that our students love visiting my library during their lunch times, where they can read any book freely, check out a new book, and work on their reading assignments with my 1:1 help as needed. My Spanish speaking students are reading books in Spanish, thanks to you! These second language kids never had books to read prior to my Donor's Choose project. Thanks to you, they are now improving their reading skills, feeling less anxiety, and raising their test scores as well.\r\nI am so proud of our students for working so hard to improve their personal reading goals and once again, I have you, our donors, to thank for helping them achieve their dreams through the love of reading!","fullyFundedDate":1756357777585,"projectUrl":"project/lets-boost-our-literacy-goals-by-enjoyi/9529423/","projectTitle":"Let's Boost Our Literacy Goals by Enjoying New Book Series!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Pate","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7557936"},{"teacherId":7557936,"projectId":9425890,"letterContent":"Once again I'd like to thank each and every one of our donors who contributed to our project BOOK BONANZA FOR EL DORADO MIDDLE SCHOOL!! \r\nSince receiving our new books, we've seen a higher check out rate, especially with our 6th grade students! Thanks to your support, my students now have an abundance of fidget toys and plushy toys that have made a world of difference in their daily learning experience. Many of my students struggle with focus and self-regulation, and having these tools has helped them stay engaged, reduce anxiety, and create a more comfortable and welcoming classroom environment. It's amazing to see how something as simple as a soft plushy or a quiet fidget can provide comfort and improve their ability to learn.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your kindness goes beyond just the toys themselves—these items have helped foster a sense of joy and security in our classroom. Students who were once easily distracted now have a way to channel their energy in a productive manner, and those who need a little extra reassurance throughout the day find comfort in their plushy companions.
