We immediately put them to work during our multiplication unit, where students used their boards to sketch out equal groups and arrays, then held them up so we could celebrate each other's strategies together. The energy in that room was electric.\r\n\r\nSince then, the whiteboards have become a cornerstone of our daily math routine. Rather than worrying about erasing mistakes on paper, students now feel free to take risks. They write a guess, think it through, wipe it away, and try again without any hesitation. Just last week, during a lesson on telling time, I watched a student who usually stays quiet work through a tricky problem three different ways before landing on the answer with a huge smile. That kind of fearless problem-solving is exactly what I hoped these materials would unlock.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are diving into our fractions unit, and I can already picture students drawing fraction bars and pie models directly on their boards, comparing pieces side by side in real time.
