These resources will promote the Social/Emotional and Verbal skills of my students. The books, Stem building materials and family and neighborhood materials will enhance the print-rich and imaginative classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library and imagination stations are a place that my students really enjoy. Every student book that is placed in my library and every station is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read and play. All of these books and building materials have been chosen with my students in mind. I have watched them the past few weeks of school read titles just like these. Students will be able to choose books, at their reading level, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word. These materials will promote Reading Fluency RF.K.3D During Distance Learning, I learned that many of my students do not have toys and books that engage their imaginations at home. My students come to class excited and ready to build and pretend and discuss their play with their classmates everyday. These materials will promote working together and building a classroom community. SS.K.1 I can't wait!
