As I unpacked the materials, their eyes lit up with curiosity and anticipation, eager to explore how these new tools would enhance our learning experience. One particularly memorable moment was when we used the new whiteboards and markers for a collaborative math review. Students were able to work through problems in pairs, discussing their thinking and explaining their reasoning to each other. This hands-on approach not only made the lesson more engaging but also encouraged teamwork and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nThe addition of these resources has already made a noticeable impact in our classroom. During our latest reading lesson, students eagerly used their new supplies to annotate texts and jot down their thoughts, fostering deeper comprehension and engagement. The interactive nature of these tools has given my students a renewed sense of ownership over their learning. As we move forward, we will be using these materials for upcoming projects, including a research-based writing assignment where students will present their findings using visual aids they create themselves. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, my students now have the tools they need to bring their ideas to life in a more meaningful and dynamic way.","fullyFundedDate":1734615767336,"projectUrl":"project/first-year-4th-grade-classroom/8703236/","projectTitle":"First Year 4th Grade Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rettberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9609676_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722007876932","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missrettberg"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_80963","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":511,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":10,"percentAsian":20,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":58,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"18.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":90.9,"schoolId":80963,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Edward T Hamilton Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Edward T Hamilton Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-jersey/voorhees-township-school-district/edward-t-hamilton-elementary-school/80963"}
