Your generosity is made it possible for me to grow as an educator, collaborator, and leader so I can better serve my students and school community.\r\n\r\nAttending RCA 2.0 gave me the opportunity to learn new strategies, strengthen my instructional practices, and connect with passionate educators who are committed to student success. The knowledge and inspiration I gained from this experience have directly impacted my classroom by helping me create more engaging, supportive, and meaningful learning opportunities for my students.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, I was able to return with fresh ideas, renewed motivation, and practical tools that can help students feel more confident, connected, and successful. Your donation did not just invest in my professional growth — it is investing in every student I teach.\r\n\r\nSince returning, I have encouraged my students to become more active participants in their learning. I introduced engaging learning games and interactive strategies that I learned during the experience, and my students have responded with excitement, energy, and greater involvement in lessons. It has been amazing to watch them become more confident, collaborative, and enthusiastic about learning.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest lessons I took away from RCA 2.0 was the importance of becoming \"1% better each day,\" a mindset strongly emphasized by Ron Clark. I have embraced that philosophy by intentionally making small improvements in my teaching every day to better support and inspire my students. These changes have helped create a more positive, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in educators and for helping make opportunities like this possible. Your kindness and support truly make a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1770851498427,"projectUrl":"project/transforming-my-classroom-through-ron-cl/10078195/","projectTitle":"Transforming My Classroom Through Ron Clark Academy EXP 2.0","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Valencia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10426774_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1770054885067","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10426774"},{"teacherId":2097554,"projectId":10072806,"letterContent":"I would like to thank you sincerely for funding my professional development experience at the Ron Clark Academy for RCA 2.0. Attending the conference was nothing short of amazing! I was blessed with the opportunity to attend workshops, discussions, classroom observations, and Q/A sessions with RCA staff, students, and parents while attending the two day conference in Atlanta, Georgia. These sessions equipped me with new ideas and activities to use in my classroom immediately upon returning to my school. Using these activities and instructional strategies has increased classroom engagement for my students. My students are excited for learning and look forward to seeing what new, innovative things we are doing next. \r\nYour contribution to my project made it possible for me to bring more excitement for learning into my classroom. Not only are they benefitting from them now, but future students will also benefit in years to come. My students are able to just come to the table for small groups and sit on a stool, instead of having to drag a chair across the room. It saves so much time- time that you don't realize is being wasted until you see how much faster it is to get started!\r\n\r\nMy students couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the stools and the cushions. They were blown away that strangers cared enough about their education to donate to improve their classroom. Students love using the cushions when working on center work or reading in the classroom. The wobble stools are perfect for those kids that have to move around. They get to move without distracting others!\r\n\r\nMy next goal is to raise money to be able to attend the Ron Clark Academy 2 day professional development in Atlanta, Georgia. Ron Clark is an amazing educator with amazing teachers who teach teachers from around the world different skills and ways to reach children who struggle.
