We go through so many supplies: pencils, markers, colored pencils, paper and tape. This gift came at just the right time!\r\n\r\nWe began some research on various animals. Our list included horses, dogs, cats, llamas, ants, and frogs. All of our K students created their own book to take home. Five of our Ks made 2 or 3 books! It was so awesome to see them grow in their literacy skills and the joy that it brought to them to see themselves as an author.\r\n\r\nWe are excited to begin writing to our first grade pen pals this fall to continue their creative writing and reading skills. Those who get the wiggles during the day are able to stay in their work space and get out their jiggles in one safe space. Those who need extra stimulation through their fingers and feet have the bands and the fidgets to move with as well. \r\nOne specific kiddo has gotten a lot out of the wiggle seat and the fidgets. He brings both to lunch, specials, and resource room. It had become his reason to come and succeed at school.
