With headsets, I could run small-group computer stations and whole-class listening activities without constant interruptions for broken or missing equipment. Students concentrated more during lessons, followed audio directions more accurately, and retained skills longer, which let me move faster through lesson plans and provide more targeted follow-up.\r\n\r\nBecause the headsets are comfortable and colorful, students were more willing to participate in independent practice and classroom centers. That increased participation meant I could collect more formative data during lessons and adjust instruction sooner for students who needed extra support.\r\n\r\nFor our kindergarten students, the dependable mice allowed each child to practice clicking, dragging, and navigating programs independently. That independence strengthened fine-motor practice I could not reliably teach before, reduced one-on-one troubleshooting time, and helped students build both digital skills and classroom confidence. As a result, I was able to plan more technology-based activities that reinforce literacy and math goals for this age group.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness. Your gift directly changed what I can teach and how effectively I can teach it; it made a measurable difference in my students' learning and classroom routines. I've also encouraged the students to pass that generosity forward.","fullyFundedDate":1757423372668,"projectUrl":"project/transforming-learning-through-quality-to/9393681/","projectTitle":"Transforming Learning Through Quality Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pinon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6488606"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_82626","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":236,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":92,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":10.0,"schoolId":82626,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Edison Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Edison Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-mexico/hobbs-municipal-school-district/edison-elementary-school/82626"}
