I have been wanting a laminator for a long time since the ones at schools are very hit or miss with operating. I used my new laminator the second it was delivered to make hundreds charts and multiplication charts to pass out to my students. I have also since laminated our letter cards and different visuals like b/d to keep on the students' desks - a simple tool that makes all the difference. I also love all the different fidget toy options that came in the package. I have students with anxiety and the fidgets are a great tool to help them calm down and complete their work. I also do a lot of diagnostic testing and having something to fidget with really helps the kids focus and do their best. In the room, we have daily sticker charts where students can earn a sticker for being on task for the day and trying their best. Keeping a prize bin stocked can be challenging so having the small, squishy animal toys that the kids LOVE is going to be a great addition to my bin. I gave them a little preview and they are already so excited to start earning them! Each part of this project was needed by both me and the students and is SO appreciated. I can't stop telling people how thankful I am that someone chose to help me get these materials - it truly means so much to me, the kindness of strangers.
