Your generosity is helping us put books into the hands and homes of developing readers in kindergarten through fourth grade.\r\n\r\nThrough our monthly bookshop, students choose books to take home and keep. That choice is an important part of this project. Students can explore their interests, find something they want to read, and begin building a home library of their own.\r\n\r\nAs a reading specialist, I work with students who need extra support and practice. Having books at home gives them more opportunities to use the skills we practice at school and share reading with their families. It also helps us connect the hard work of learning to read with the pleasure of finding a good book.\r\n\r\nOur goal is for each student to build a collection of ten books throughout the school year. Your support is helping make that possible, one book at a time.
