They were especially impressed by the pencil holder!\r\n\r\nBecause of your generous gift, our students have gained the confidence needed to perform music at a higher level. In order to sound great, you need to look great too. These folder unify our presentation on stage and in rehearsal, and have elevated our music making. Previously, we had only two options: child safety scissors and X-Acto blades. Scissors failed to cut through the cardboard without causing achy hands. X-Acto blades, although are fantastic for paper, are dangerous to maneuver through cardboard. The canary knives, which I hadn't used previously, were PERFECT! Safe and effective. My 6th grade students enjoyed working with the canary knives and their cardboard landscapes came out FANTASTIC! \r\n As for my 5th grade students, they are creating realistic animal drawings. They needed color photos to use as a reference. Can you imagine doing a drawing of a tropical parrot but the image is in black and white?! Well, because of your donations, they were able to have a color image to work from. My 8th grade students will be creating art using digital art programs on their computers. As I print visual copies of their projects, color ink is imperative for a vivid, accurate representation to display for the whole school to see. \r\nAll of this is possible because of donors like you!
