My students frequently work as partners or in small groups. Due to social distancing, my students rely on talking to each other through their computers. However, it is vital that the students use headphones while having these discussions. Headphones during class time will allow the students to stop focusing on everyone else and start to focus on themselves and the work at hand. The headphones will also allow the students to listen to programs or read aloud at their own level. My students will have the option of taking these headphones home if needed or leaving them at school for organizational purposes.
