These books have had a tremendous impact on my students. By allowing them to select texts that match their personal interests, I've seen increased engagement and a genuine love for reading. Through close reading and discussions, they've developed valuable literary analysis skills, such as identifying themes, understanding character development, and analyzing plot structure—skills that will be invaluable as they prepare for the state tests in March.\r\n\r\nEach Friday, we dedicate half an hour to silent reading, during which students dive into their books, engage in discussions with partners, and complete literary analysis activities. This time not only helps them practice close reading strategies but also encourages them to make real-world connections and think critically about the texts they're exploring.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping make this possible.
